  i never got into trouble with the elders.

  i served on judicial committees too many times.

  i am happy that i no longer have to "judge" whether someone is a "sinner" any longer!

  fraid not. i know a woman in the UK has been d/f 4 times ! shes out now.

  My Old Kingdom Hall being merged with TWO other congregations!

  this can only be a good sign.. my old congregation in liverpool has had a lot of money in it's bank account for years.

  for a long, long time (almost 8 years) they've been looking for land to build a new hall.

  the one they're in now is literally falling to bits.

  Why did Satan tempt Eve with a talking snake when he could have materialised as another human to tempt her ?

  since the angels that followed satan could take on human form and even have sex and bear offspring to females of earth why would satan not have used this avenue instead of talking through a snake .?

  which really makes no common sense ?.

  why wouldnt eve question how a snake could talk?

  its easy to understand--ask any dub!

  the talking snake is symbolic..

  however--adam was real----so was eve.

  god creating the world is real--but the 7 days of creation is symbolic.

  god creating adam--real--taking a rib out to make eve--? symbolic.

  garden of eden--? real---no--symbolic.

  the book of genesis--real--the old testament ?----

  Emotionally very ill but can't face consequences of leaving

  i'm a new member so wanted to say 'hi'.

  i live in the u.k, was born in, fell away as an unbaptised publisher, got baptised in my 30s for reasons i'm retrospectively unsure of, and lost my faith about five years ago around the time of the original a.r.c.

  now, being unable to leave is making me physically, emotionally and mentally ill.. i'm not strong enough to da and live with the family consequences, and despite having several good friends outside the faith, none of them could support me in an active way as such.
